Superb white linen like fabric is cut and shaped into one of the most classic Cardin designs! The bodice is cut simply with no sleeves and a rounded neck accented by the panel of blue. The waist curves in just a touch and then the skirt skims over the hip to fall to the floor in a sculptural masterpiece! The hem is cut in rounded flaps - two in the front and two in the back that give the dress tremendous movement and visual interest. Each flap is edged in that same band of blue fabric. Instantly recognizable as a Cardin! I love the crispness of the white against the blue too! Excellent condition!
Fully lined in a white silky rayon and closes with a back zipper. Note that the zipper pull is broken and just a stub of it remains - because the zipper is original to the dress I have chosen to leave it as found.
