I love these sequin pieces from the 1970s and they way they glimmer with a life of their own when on. By laying each sequin flat and side by side it allows the light to catch the fabric in the most wonderful of ways. The skirt is cut in a generous A-line so you get lots of drape and movement. It flows up to the the bodice with a nipped in waist but no seam there to break the eye. The neckline is halter style leaving the back dramatically bare. So sexy. It comes with its original jacket and this is cut slim and long with two chic pocjets on each hip. The color of both pieces is a deep navy. A real beauty and in excellent, looks to have been unworn, condition!
The dress is fully lined in deep navy stretch jersey and the jacket in blue silk. It closes with a low back painted zipper and the halter hooks around the neck with hook & eye. All sequins appear to be present
