My client is sure this is from around 2005 and it looks like his earlier pieces look. It is very simple but with lots of drama! To layers of a stretch, fluid jersey in a deep ink black sit atop each other. The top layer is covered in scattered paillettes in two sizes and each and every one of those sequins are hand stitched into place. The neckline is high and it has a racer back, tank styled cut with deeply inset arms that allow lots of the back to be exposed when on. The skirt widens to an A-line as it nears the hem and the fabric allows the dress o skim your curves and yet still hug the body when you move. A gorgeous and early Alexander McQueen piece. Excellent condition.

Constructed from a double layer of the same stretch crepe jersey. The sequins are all hand sewn onto the top layer - the work is clearly visible on the other side. It closes with a hidden back zipper. Tagged a 42
